Avandia

Avandia, a tablet medication that helps type-2 diabetes better control their blood sugar levels by increasing the body’s sensitivity to insulin, has been linked to severe and possibly life-threatening side effects. Avandia, generically known as rosiglitazone, is produced and manufactured by GlaxoSmithKline. This diabetes medication has been associated with heart attacks, as well as heart failure. Patients taking this drug have a 43% higher chance of having a heart attack than those who take an alternative diabetes medication. Patients with a past medical history including heart disorders, liver problems, diabetic ketoacidosis, swelling problems and patients who ingest nitrates, anticoagulants or insulin are at a higher risk of endorsing fatal side effects. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms; chest pain, dizziness, fainting, headaches, shortness of breath, limb numbness, swollen limbs, weight gain and vomiting, you may be a victim of Avandia.
